How does it work and which types do you use per type of wall. In this article more about the topics:

What type of wall do I install wall heating on?

How many m2 is needed for additional heating or main heating?

How to install wall heating on stony walls (brick walls)

How to install wall heating on wooden framework / metal stud

Connect distributor

Heat transfer and LTV

ON WHICH WALL TO INSTALL WALL HEATING

I will describe the installation step-by-step later. First I explain on which wall it is best to place wall heating. The delivery system works best on the outside walls and walls. I don’t mean literally outside, but the surrounding walls of a room. That’s because it’s colder outside than inside. The wall is therefore cold and radiates cold. By cladding the inside with wall heating, you essentially put a warm coat on the house. If possible, it is advisable to provide the inside of the wall with insulation. Take into account elements such as vapour-open, vapour-tight and the dew point.

MAIN HEATING: HOW MANY M2 OF WALL HEATING DO YOU NEED?

You need a large wall area for main heating. The rule of thumb is:

New construction: 40-50% of the floor space

Existing buildings: 60-65% of the floor area

Do you want to calculate exactly how much wall heating you need compared to the required output capacity? Then call in an experienced installer.

ADDITIONAL HEATING: HOW MANY M2 OF WALL HEATING DO YOU NEED?

For additional heating, the absolute lower limit is 35% toz of the floor area. So if you have 40m² of floor space, you need 14m² (35%) of wall heating. Less is not wise because the increase in comfort is not noticeable.

REGISTER WALL HEATING FOR STONY WALLS (WET CONSTRUCTION)

Do you have (stony) stone walls? Then our Register wall heating is suitable. Look below the product page for the complete installation manual.

You can attach a mounting rail to the wall using impact plugs. There is 50cm between the rails.

Click the heating pipe into the rail from below

You then finish the wall with Eco-Plaster, clay layer or, for example, plaster

INSTALL WALL HEATING MODULE

If you are working on a project with, for example, wooden framework or metal stud, then our Module wall heating is suitable. Look below the product page for the complete installation manual.

Based on the wall surface, choose the number of wall plates you want (different sizes)

The framework must be spaced 30cm apart

Now pull the connecting tube from the bottom of the wall plate(s)

Now screw the wall plate with the fermacell screws (drill holes are already marked)

Apply glue to the side of the plates (two-component glue included)

Now you bring the next plate to completely everything has been processed

You then connect the connecting pipes with a press coupling (we rent the press rod)

Once the glue has hardened, remove the glue residue with a knife

The panels can now be finished with plaster, paint or wallpaper

CONNECT WALL HEATING TO A DISTRIBUTOR

With a distribution system such as wall heating you need a distributor. The system operates at lower temperatures (= energy savings). Therefore, do not connect it directly to an existing heating system. A heating system with radiators works with high temperatures that are not suitable for wall heating. Always use a distributor to distribute the heat over the different wall surfaces (zones or groups). Whether you need a distributor with a pump or without depends on the situation.

HEAT TRANSFER WALL HEATING (FLOW)

To get the highest possible comfort from the wall heating, good flow is essential. Make sure you use small areas. For Register wall heating (wet construction) a maximum of 10m² per zone applies (wall of 5m x 2m). For the dry construction variant, 6m² applies (five complete slabs). Here too, less is more comfort.

LOW TEMPERATURE HEATING (LTV)

Wall heating is a low temperature heating (LTV). If you want maximum efficiency, connect it to a sustainable heating source. Consider a buffer tank with solar boiler collectors, an electric heat pump or a biomass pellet boiler. You can of course also connect it to an existing system with a gas central heating boiler.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row type=”in_container” full_screen_row_position=”middle” column_margin=”default” column_direction=”default” column_direction_tablet=”default” column_direction_phone=”default” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” row_border_radius=”none” row_border_radius_applies=”bg” overflow=”visible” overlay_strength=”0.3″ gradient_direction=”left_to_right” shape_divider_position=”bottom” bg_image_animation=”none”][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_tablet=”inherit” column_padding_phone=”inherit” column_padding_position=”all” column_element_direction_desktop=”default” column_element_spacing=”default” desktop_text_alignment=”default” tablet_text_alignment=”default” phone_text_alignment=”default” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_backdrop_filter=”none” column_shadow=”none”…

[1

post-76","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-news
["GET
